BATTLE BOARD — HP bars, damage dealt, rank and next target

BATTLE BOARD — HP bars, damage dealt, rank and next target

Paying off debt is boring. So this one turns it into a boss fight.

Every debt becomes a boss with an HP bar. Every payment you make deals damage. Bosses fall one at a time, achievements unlock, and your rank climbs from ROOKIE to LEGEND as the balances come down.

Snowball or avalanche, switched with one dropdown.

Smallest balance first for quick wins, or highest interest first to save the most money. Change your mind whenever you like — all 120 months of the projection rebuild instantly.

The snowball is actually built in.

When a debt is cleared, its minimum payment doesn't vanish. It rolls straight into the attack on the next boss, automatically, exactly as the method is supposed to work.

It tells you the two numbers that matter.

The month you'll be debt free, and how much interest you're saving compared with paying only the minimums. Both recalculate every time you log a payment.

And it's honest with you.

If your payment doesn't cover the interest, it says so instead of drawing a pretty chart of a debt that never dies.

Why this one

Checked, not eyeballed

  • No checkboxes to add, no scripts, no permissions to grant — including on the Google Sheets mobile app
  • The payoff maths was tested against an independent simulation, including awkward cases like a 0% card, a 36% card, and a payment too small to ever clear the balance
  • Works in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel — both files included

Independent checks33

33 checks across four scenarios: baseline, a 10-debt avalanche with 0% and 36% APR extremes, negative amortization, and the fully-paid-off state.
