What it does
Most handmade pricing comes down to materials plus a bit, and a quiet hope. This works it out properly — your time at a rate you set, your overheads per hour, waste, packaging, marketplace fees — and prints the honest price on a swing tag. Then it tells you what you are actually earning on the price you charge today.
PAYS YOU AN HOUR takes your price, removes the fees, the materials, the overheads and the packaging, and divides what is left by the hours it took. That is your real wage on that product. For most makers the first look at it is the moment the whole thing changes.
The tag prints wholesale and retail from your own cost and your own multipliers — so when a shop asks for your wholesale sheet, you have one, and it already leaves room for them without undercutting yourself.
A single bar: materials, your time, overheads, packaging, profit. When the blue band is most of the bar, you are selling hours, and you can see it.

Built natively in Google Sheets. 638 checks against an independent Python recomputation, 0 failures. Set Up, all 40 rows of Your Products with their nine computed columns, all eleven ENGINE steps one at a time, every readout on THE PRICE TAG and all 24 cells of the mirror row that drives the breakdown bar are re-derived and compared cell by cell — including a product priced below its non-time costs, all four verdicts, and the ideal-price sentence whose promised hourly figure is computed independently. Eight visual bugs caught: the MATERIALS + WASTE header did not fit its column (now WITH WASTE); a frozen column cut the subtitle in half where it overflowed across the freeze line (frozen columns dropped); five legend entries on one row gave each 90px and clipped every amount (now three to a row); two Set Up labels ran past their columns; the script face drew its descenders through the line under every title and heading (top alignment, taller rows); the verdict was cut off top and bottom in its 28px pair of rows; and WHICH PAYS YOU, AN HOUR ran off the last column.
